Research, Supervision and Examination

Have been conducting research on African Indigenous Vegetables in the last 20 years

I have done research on other African indigenous food plants, Rainfed rice and NERICA rice. I have attended over 20 international scientific conferences and workshops.

I have supervised 22 undergraduate projects, 12 theses and examined over 20 Masters and Ph.D theses. I have served as external examiner for Moi University 2003-2007 and I review for 8 refereed journals internationally that include African Journal of Food Agriculture, nutrition and Development, EUPHYTICA, Nutrition Bulletin, Journal of Agriculture Science and Technology, Maseno Journal of Education, Arts and Science, and Journal of Science, Technology, Education and Management (J-STEM)

Have published over 20 peer reviewed scientific articles
