About SRDA 2018 Celebration
The 8TH Scientific Revival Day of Africa scheduled to take place on 28TH June, 2018 captures the theme “Brain Drain and Brain Gain” with the following sub-thematic areas:
v Migration and Geographical distribution of Brain Drain in the World.
v Brain Drain and Brain Gain: Technology Transfer and Development.
v Economic Impact of Brain Drain.
v Policies and Strategies for turning Brain Drain and Brain Gain opportunities for Transformation of Kenya’s Economy into knowledge economy.
SRDA 2018 seeks to bring together regional academies of sciences in formulating policies to address brain drain and brain gain, brain drain and brain circulation for sustainable development. A policy brief and report will be prepared for the government of Kenya, published and launched and shared with all Academies in Africa.
